3PlayPlus has developed a video upload and video broadcast web service. This service is branded and marketed as Feic (Irish to see) and can be found at www.feic.ie and www.feic.tv" on the feic page Feic is an Irish service and focuses on Irish video and content with an emphasis on local activities and communities.Feic enables users to upload their video and share it with others either publicly to all visitors to the website or with private groups of individuals such as family or social and sporting groups. Feic is a Web 2.0 service and is very much driven by the users and site members with members being able to comment on and rate other user’s videos.

3PlayPlus has differentiated Feic from other similar types of offerings by integrating the website with 3PlayPlus’s HomeVision digital TV service. This enables HomeVision customers to view Feic videos on their TV sets via the Electronic HomeVision Programming Guide (EPG) menu on their TVs. Users can also upload and view videos using their mobile phones making Feic highly accessible to users wherever they are.

The Feic platform represents 3PlayPlus’s first venture in the area of broadband TV and this platform also has the capability to deliver broadband TV services to customers in a variety of scenarios. We believe that Feic heralds the dawn of Local TV services in Ireland.
